For those of you not in the know, this comic is spoofing Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie trailer at around the 1:06 minute mark.

Honestly, with all the other alterations to the story, the way Michelangelo looks in this movie has to be one of the most minor issues I take about it. But this joke struck me while watching the trailer and it seemed so simple, yet clever and it was easy enough to draw that I decided to just go for it.

...
But as long as I'm here in the Artist's Comments box and I'm on the topic of this movie...

Needless rant you can all just skip:
I really have no intention of spending money to watch this in theaters. More than the other 90's cartoon film adaptations, this one seems to be bothering me the most. When I get down to it, even though I've watched all the other major cartoons of my childhood, Ninja Turtles was my cartoon of choice.
G.I. Joes was not my cartoon.
Transformers was not my cartoon.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was what I turned on the TV after school for.

I would be one of the audience members to cheer the loudest for a Ninja Turtles movie done right. But if there's one thing I've noticed about Michael Bay movie adaptations, it's that he doesn't give a damn for the source material.
I get that changes have to be made. I GET IT! I get that when you make a movie adaptation, you HAVE to revise the content to suit the media. There's no getting around the changes that have to be made if you want a quality story that audiences can enjoy watching. But Bay just has this knack for turning these changes into hurdles. Hurdles that fans of a franchise have to jump over in order to accept the movie. And the hurdles in this movie are numerous and unnecessary. The Shredder isn't a Japanese warlord but some kind of caucasian businessman. The Foot Clan aren't a clan of ninjas but a terrorist cell. The ninja turtles aren't short and nimble but six-foot-tall hulking titans. All of them are just pointless hurdles to make fans jump over.
I couldn't care less that Megan Fox is April O'Neil. It wouldn't have killed them to make her hair red, but not really a critical detail. She's not the deal breaker for this movie.

But I suspect that I know why Michael Bay made these changes. It's because Bay likes his movies to be EPIC! and SERIOUS! and FATE DRIVEN! and the ninja turtles are just not the right fit for that kind of tone. The premise of the story is simply too ridiculous and silly to be taken seriously like that. Think about it. It's a story about a team of mutated turtles who are trained in ninjutsu... and who are, oh by the way, also teenagers. This is not a gothic tale of woe and honor here. The ninja turtles are popular thanks to their silly humor, fun ninja-style action, and various pulpy sci-fi themes. The movie should be funny and lighthearted and Bay is just incapable of delivering a movie with a tone like that.

Maybe... MAYBE if Bay were in charge of a "Gargoyles" movie adaptation, he could deliver the proper tone.
But with the ninja turtles, Michael Bay misses the point by a mile.
