Who else is exited for the new DuckTales reboot?!

Seriously, it looks brilliant, the art style and writing direction is inspired, and you can tell the Disney Channel is really proud of itself because they put the first two episodes up on YouTube for anyone to watch for free. And the hints of a larger expanded universe connecting to other nostalgic Disney properties from the 90's... a "Duckverse" if you will... really stimulates the nerd center of my brain.

But of course, anyone who watched those first two episodes probably noticed a striking resemblance between the new, revamped Webbigail Vanderquack and another certain popular, over-hyper, young female character owned by Disney... Mabel Pines. They even went so far as to give Webby a grappling hook in one scene.

I know I'm not the first person to draw this comparison, but the idea for this little scene sprung to my mind and I just couldn't let it go without giving it life. I hope you enjoy this little piece of goofy cuteness.

I think I generally enjoyed the Reboot.

Though I suspect Webby would handle this situation a bit better than Mabel would. This situation referring to the Grappling Hook acrobatics.

Now that I think about it...

Huey would probably get very involved with Dipper & comparison's between the Journals, and the Junior Woodchuck Guidebook.

Dewey might be interested in the Journals... but only for exploration purposes.

Louie would only encourage Grunkle Stan. Possibly aiding & abetting him.
